Where are the lean bean fitness studios located?

Bondi Beach: 178 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach, 2026 - Or in layman's terms, In the little laneway by Sonoma and Tuchuzy.

Darlinghurst: 171 William St, Darlinghurst, 2010- Slap bang on Williams St. Kings Cross station is close by or we recommend the free parking on Bourke St or Forbes St.

What's the difference between pilates classes and barre classes?

Barre is the brainchild of Pilates & Ballet. Our 'Barre Beans' classes are a seamless flow of exercises with additional cardio to keep the class upbeat and sweat inducing.

What are the benefits of mat pilates vs. reformer?

In our eyes, bodyweight Mat Pilates using mini props will challenge you far more than the reformer would. With minimal rest time and no playing around with springs, our Power Pilates classes will have you hooked.

Is pilates or HIIT better for toning?

Toning = conditioning. We believe a pick n' mix of strength (Pilates) and cardio (HIIT) is essential in your workout schedule.

Do you offer one-on-one personal training sessions?

Do you offer teacher training?

We offer Barre teacher training alongside Women In Focus physiotherapists. Next course is May 2023 but for more info & enrolments, click here.

What level of difficulty are the classes?

Our classes are tailored for beginners to advance and we aim to modify the exercises to suit the majority. This being said, our classes are challenging so chat to your instructor before the class starts so they can give you extra guidance if you need it.

Which one of your classes is the hardest?

Barre Beans there's no rest time so you're physically and mentally challenged throughout. But probably Hiit Play for sweat factor!

Are men allowed in the classes?

We specialise in female fitness therefore the majority of our classes are women's only. However, we have 'Mixed Beans' classes scattered throughout the schedule which we welcome men to. Check out the schedule for Bondi here and Darlinghurst here to find a class.

Do I need to bring a mat or trainers?

We provide mats and we suggest bare feet or socks in all our in-studio classes. If you are injured or you prefer to wear shoes, we are more than happy to let you wear in-door trainers.

Do you have showers at both studios?

We sure do! BYO towel but hairdryer and soaps provided.
